MI-BOX

In 2017 I became an official dealer for a moving and mobile storage company in New Hampshire called MI-BOX. This company operates similarly to the well-known brand, PODS, by delivering portable storage containers directly to consumer’s homes or businesses.

I was inspired to become a dealer for MI-BOX after seeing the expansion of PODS at their headquarters in Tampa, FL while attending the University of Tampa. Fortunately, one of my close friends is in the moving and storage business and was looking to offer portable storage as an additional option to his product offerings. After extensively researching options, we found MI-BOX had the best delivery system and was the best business model in portable storage. He jumped at the opportunity to offer portable storage in Southern NH. A couple of years later, I was presented with the opportunity to open my own dealerships – allowing MI-BOX to service all of NH easily. I’ve become convinced that the convenience of having a MI-BOX delivered directly to the consumer, then offering the flexibility to store at their location or ours, is the future of the moving and storage industry.

Consumers seem to agree because within one year I’ve expanded my territories and hired additional employees. I began with the Central and Northern New Hampshire territories and now manage the Western New Hampshire territory as well.

I’m so confident in the business that I’ve already invested in five acres of land off exit 20 in Tilton, NH, which is a great central location and has a high traffic count, to build the headquarters of my new business. Each MI-BOX container acts as a billboard, so finding the perfect location for my headquarters was key.

Since starting my first business, BuyaTimeshare.com in 2000, I’ve always been responsible for managing several employees. I was intrigued by the MI-BOX business model because it only requires a couple of amazing employees to manage the entire Northern, Central and Western New Hampshire territories. Fewer employees keeps things simple, which allows us to be consumer focused.

My vision is to expand MI-BOX by purchasing two more parcels of land in key high traffic locations to help better service our customer base. We are focused on being able to deliver a MI-BOX unit within 24 hours of our consumer placing their order. We will be there when you need us most!
