Tilton, NH – February 6, 2019 – Portable and self storage company MI-BOX of Central and Western New Hampshire has been honored with a Golden Hammer Award for 2019. The award, presented by the Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce at its 100^th Annual Meeting, recognized MI-BOX for the construction of its new facility last year. 

MI-BOX built its new headquarters in Tilton, NH to house its new offices and self storage facility at 405 Laconia Road, across the street from the Lochmere Country Club and the Greenside Restaurant. The company previously held a Grand Opening ceremony for the facility in August, 2018, and now looks ahead to its third year in business.  

“We are very excited to be recognized by the Lakes Chamber for our new facility,” said Wes Kogelman, Owner and General Manager, MI-BOX of Central New Hampshire. “While our business is mobile and we can provide our self storage containers just about anywhere, our headquarters has given us important visibility and we strongly believe in reinvesting into our business and back into our community.

“Our business has grown an incredible 300% in revenue year over year and a big reason is the support we have received from the local business community, so a big thank you goes out to the Lakes Chamber,” added Kogelman.

Each year the Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce recognizes businesses for their economic development, construction or improvements in the Lakes Region or Twin Rivers regions. Businesses from all sectors of the community, whether retail, commercial, industrial, municipal or non-profits, were eligible to submit an entry in the Chamber’s Business Economic Development Awards.
